What is the benefit of an Aloe Vera base as opposed to water?
The main ingredient of all our skin care products is Aloe Vera Gel, rather than water which enhances effectiveness and is an excellent base for the other ingredients to do their job. Most skin care lines can contain up to 80% water. Pure Pacific Skin Nutrition would be one of the very few products that choose not to. The Aloe Vera concentrates the product and of course gives you, our consumer, the best value. It also allows your skin nutrition to suit all skin types and will keep your skin balanced through all seasons.

What skin type does Pure Pacific Skin Nutrition suit?
The Aloe Vera base ensures Pure Pacific is suitable for all skin types – Oily, Dry, Sensitive, Aging and Acne Prone. It’s even suitable for men who want to take care of their skin’s needs simply and effectively. Pure Pacific Skin Nutrition contains food grade New Zealand Ocean Kelp (seaweed). People who have sensitivities to seafood are advised to patch test on the inner elbow before use

Why are there preservatives in my Pure Pacific Skin Nutrition?
We believe that you should receive a product that stays consistent within the period recommended on the package. In a perfect world it would be wonderful not to use chemicals, but it is being discovered that even natural ingredients can create dangerous by-products under the wrong circumstances. We think it is safer for you, our consumer, to have a minimal amount of preservative that will protect you with certainty from the unexpected and ensure that your purchase brings you full value. Pure Pacific Skin Nutrition is preserved at well under 1% and is completely Paraben free.

Why use a Hypo Allergenic fragrance?
We have lightly perfumed our range with a gentle, Hypo Allergenic fragrance. This makes it pleasant to use but does not dominate. Essential oils are not used as they can be extremely powerful and are known to break down plastic packaging and cause damage to the product. Also the level of allergies to essential oils is high and we do not want any adverse reactions to spoil your enjoyment of our product line so have chosen to go with the Hypo Allergenic option.

What are the green specks in my Skin Nutrition?
The green flecks in your Pure Pacific Skin Nutrition products are Macrocystis Pyrifera (Organic New Zealand Ocean Kelp) which grows abundantly here in New Zealand off the coast of the South Island. It is a sustainable resource as it grows up to 1 foot per day. The ocean kelp we use is the best quality, food grade seaweed to ensure it is in as natural a state as possible and brings maximum benefit to your skin.
